Overview

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for resolving customer complaints, inquiries, or requests using analytical ability and judgment in evaluating customer accounts in order to resolve all issues to the satisfaction of the customer. The Customer Service Representative may also perform sales or support functions when necessary to meet the objectives of the call center.

Responsibilities

  • Resolving customer complaints, inquiries or requests which may include handling difficult situations and irate customers
  • Performing sales or support functions as necessary to provide individualized customer service of a high-standard and professional level
  • Adjusting customer accounts to accurately reflect the decisions made to resolve customer inquiries
  • Performing data entry
  • Reviewing and updating all provided reference materials to maintain comprehensive understanding of policies and procedures
  • Identifying and communicating to management significant trends in customer inquiries
  • Performing additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Two years of customer service experience; call center experience preferred
  • Strong customer satisfaction skills including written and oral communication skills
  • Good reading comprehension and problem solving skills
  • Must be able to use a computer and have efficient keyboarding and data entry skills
  • Ability to multi task and change focus frequently
  • Ability to handle diverse people and situations while maintaining professionalism
  • Must have a commitment to delivering service that exceeds our customer�s expectations
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality is required
  • High School degree or equivalent; Associates degree preferred
