  • Overview

    Purpose:   Drive wholesale product and business objectives to maximize business results and financial goals.   Manage operational execution of orders received from wholesale accounts. Act as communication liaison for assortment and materials to wholesale accounts as necessary.


    Core Accountabilities:

    • Order management for all product categories for Hudson licensed stores based on seasonal timeframe, including communication of product offer & pricing, receipt of orders and placement with production
    • Manage Monthly store allocation via JDA and shipment communication for Hudson stores.
    • Manage manual invoice requests for shipments out of DC and manual reconciliation of invoices for Hudson stores
    • Communicate full price markdowns to Hudson stores as necessary
    • Order seasonal GSS Samples for Wholesale
    • Resolve seasonal Hudson order management changes and issues either with vendor, US production team, or US planning as they arise.
    • Communicate DC transfer requests and manage materials ordering (bags, hangers, etc) for Hudson
    • Manage sales recaps for Hudson
    • Manage order entry of Costco and other wholesale accounts into EB systems for placement with Production.
    • Support conflict resolution with vendors on behalf of Wholesale
    • Research, negotiate, and resolve liability claims
    • Initiate label and hangtag creation for club orders with marketing
    • Manage approval process of samples, trims, and sundries for wholesale accounts on a timely basis
    • Assist in preparation of seasonal global launch and wholesale meetings
    • Assist with International activities as necessary

    Education/Experience Required:

    • 4-year college degree in related field
    • 5-7 years' experience in wholesale, production, or related field
    • Experience in merchandising, apparel development, or production preferred
    • Wholesale experience with apparel industry preferred
    • Very strong Excel and analytical skills
    • Proficient PC skills including word and PowerPoint
    • Strong written and verbal skills
    • Strong organization and prioritization skills
    • High sense of urgency


    Physical Requirements:

    • While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to talk or hear. The associate is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; as well as reach with hands and arms.
    • The associate must frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
    • Ability to work in open environment with fluctuating temperatures and standard lighting.
    • Ability to work on computer and mobile phone for multiple hours; with frequent interruptions.
    • Required to travel in elevator or stairwells to attend meetings and engage with associates on multiple floors throughout building.


    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

    This is a full-time position. As an International Retailer, occasional evening and/or weekend work may be required during periods of high volume. This role operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.
