  • Overview

    Own the SEM, SEO, and Marketplaces programs by being the core subject matter expert of each channel and managing the programs in their entirety. This position supports the Director of Digital marketing in the development, maintenance, and optimization of the channel strategies with a keen focus on measurement and validation of program performance. This role thrives in a fast-paced environment and keeps up with the ever-changing landscape of the Search Marketing and Marketplaces channels while striving for innovation through continuous testing.

     

     

     

     

     

     

    Responsibilities

     

    Core Accountabilities:

    • Paid Search: Responsible for day-to-day management of each program inclusive of:
      • Typical tasks such as recurring reporting, ongoing campaign optimizations, vendor management, and more.
      • Strategy-centric responsibilities including and not limited to: in-depth program and customer analysis, innovative optimization strategy recommendations, extensive A/B/Multi-variate testing, and more.
    • SEO: In partnership with Director of Digital Marketing, own SEO roadmap to expand overall organic search ranking opportunities for Eddie Bauer’s digital properties inclusive of:
      • Typical tasks such as recurring reporting, project/vendor management, engineering-reliant project prioritization, and more.
      • Strategy-centric responsibilities such as: incremental impact analysis of SEO efforts, managing growth strategies for both commerce-centric and content-centric target keywords, managing company’s Content Hub strategy, and more.
    • Marketplaces: Lead the digital marketplace business relationships, such as Amazon.com, including the oversight of listing and review optimization, paid advertising, content optimization, reporting/analysis, rank-boosting projects, and more.
      • As marketplace relationships and ecosystems evolve, keep up with industry trends and optimizations to lead enhancement of the brand’s competitiveness. This includes trends across marketing, reviews, content, and more.
      • Responsible for launching new marketplaces as company priorities evolve.
      • Drive primary marketplace objectives as they relate to revenue, new customer acquisition and customer retention while mitigating Direct channel cannibalization.
    • In partnership with Director of Digital Marketing, develop and maintain testing roadmaps for each respective channel to keep Eddie Bauer at the cutting edge of marketing effectiveness.
    • Responsible for challenging agency partners and internal stakeholders for excellence, whether involving cutting-edge tactics/tools or optimizations to save or generate incremental demand.
    • Exceed individual channel goals and be a major contributor to exceeding overall company objectives as they relate to customer file growth, company profitability, incremental growth, and more. Adaptability to the ever-changing initiatives is imperative.
    • As business needs change, this role may be responsible for managing additional associates or agencies holding them to the same standards of excellence.

    Education/Experience Required:

    • A./B.S. Degree
    • 5+ years of marketing experience in digital or traditional marketing.
    • Experience with SEM, SEO, and/or Amazon 3P/2P selling.
    • Experience working in cross-functional environment, managing multiple critical tasks with competing priorities.
    • Ability to grasp complex measurement and attribution concepts to grow programs most effectively.
    • Experience with reporting and analyzing data with the ability to communicate and relate to individuals.
    • Proven knowledge of proactively seeking growth across all verticals.
    • Experience taking direction and executing directives, treating every initiative as an opportunity to grow one’s self and the business.
    • Ability to multi-task in demanding and ever-changing environment.

     

    Physical Requirements:

    The physical demands described here are representative of those that are required by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. 

    • While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to talk or hear. The associate is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; as well as reach with hands and arms.
    • The associate must frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
    • Ability to work in open environment with fluctuating temperatures and standard lighting.
    • Ability to work on computer and mobile phone for multiple hours; with frequent interruptions.
    • Required to travel in elevator or stairwells to attend meetings and engage with associates on multiple floors throughout building.
    • Hotel, Airplane, and Car Travel Required.

     

    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

    This is a full-time position.  As an International Retailer, occasional evening and/or weekend work may be required during periods of high volume.  This role operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.
