    To drive profitable sales growth through the development of a high performance district team focused on achieving company business objectives and providing a consistent, positive customer experience.

     

     

     

    Responsibilities

    Core Accountabilities

    • Drive district sales results by creating an environment of exceptional selling, service and brand presentation within each store.
    • Attract, retain, develop, and inspire a customer focused, sales intense, district team. Proactively build long term succession plans at all levels.
    • Set clear performance expectations and provide straight-forward feedback that improves performance.
    • Model and coach sales leadership and the five non-negotiable selling behaviors.
    • Plan, support and execute company direction and initiatives.
    • Hold management accountable to set high expectations and clear accountability.
    • Model the “What We Value” priorities of Eddie Bauer.
    • Own final accountability for all actions, decisions, and results of the District.
    • Provide feedback to enhance organizational effectiveness.
    • Develop, coach and mentor, Store Managers, Co-Managers, and Assistant Managers.
    • Administer the performance management process, including annual reviews and appropriate corrective action to store managers, up to and including separation.
    • Approve the work schedule for the store management teams within the District.
    • Set and adjust rates of pay for all management positions within the District.
    • Plan and control the District payroll budget to meet expectations.
    • Partner with DVP, Human Resource Managers, and Loss Prevention on investigation of sexual harassment, discrimination, loss prevention allegations and associate complaints.
    • Ensure all store are in compliance to all Eddie Bauer Standard Operating Procedures.

     

    Qualifications

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    • Focused on developing high energy, high impact, sales floor leaders.
    • Proven track record or successful sales results and people development.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meeting the needs of the business, which will require weekend and evening.

    Education/Experience Required

    • 2-5 years multi-unit management experience or equivalent.
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Bachelor’s or Associate Degree or equivalent experience, preferred.
    • Specialty retail management experience, preferred.
