Purpose:             Teams with other Maintenance Supervisor to supervise a team of non-exempt maintenance technicians and Housekeeping associates that service operational systems and facilities for warehouse and distribution totaling over two million square feet in size.  Acts as first contact for urgent requests or issues.  Prioritizes the repair and maintenance activities of all maintenance and facility personnel on all shifts.  Coordinates work assignments and work flow to maximize the utilization of the team.  Fully documents all the activities of the department for all shifts.  This individual is a maintenance and facilities subject matter expert and provides technical expertise for all controls hardware/software, equipment, and building & grounds maintenance, repairs, and housekeeping.  Supervises and coordinates outside contractors hired to perform facilities and maintenance services.  Leads development/mentoring of Technicians related to specific maintenance practices, safety requirements, and detailed knowledge about the Groveport Service Center facility, equipment, systems, and grounds.  Provides guidance and training in order to achieve the highest possible level of productivity for the various shifts and positions within the teams.     Core Accountabilities: - The Maintenance Supervisor supervises a team of non-exempt Maintenance and Housekeeping associates across multiple shifts, and is typically on call 24x7 for major issues. - Assignments for this position generally come from the Maintenance Manager or through teaming with the Manager and other leadership. - The Supervisor is responsible for enforcing work, safety and environmental policies, supervising execution of the preventative maintenance (PM) program, actively participates in the safety program, and communicates with management on the condition of equipment and facilities, and provides input for the assembly of capital plans. - The Maintenance Supervisor is the focal point of communications between the department and maintenance / housekeeping customers so it is imperative that this individual can calmly and rationally communicate even during highly charged and emotional situations. - Develops and maintains exceptional troubleshooting skills and uses those skills to quickly and accurately identify the root cause of a problem and execute repairs. This position must fully assess situations and make decisions based on input from the maintenance team, policy & guidelines, individual experience and direction from management. - The Maintenance Supervisor is primarily responsible for maintaining Maintenance and Housekeeping department productivity, frequently working with the Senior Technicians on each shift to coordinate activities and verify quality and completeness of work. The Supervisor has demonstrated skills/experience performing all the hands-on maintenance duties as defined in the Maintenance Technician job descriptions, plus also trains, coaches and mentors Technicians where needed (usually by hands-on demonstrations and by example). -     - Provides expertise in highly technical areas such as microprocessors, control systems, HVAC, system layout, power distribution, etc. - Monitors the quality, completeness, timeliness, efficiency and accurate documentation of maintenance and housekeeping activities. - In partnership with Manager, coordinates distribution of work and development of PM schedules; refers problems to maintenance management that are outside normal guidelines, skill level of the maintenance staff or exceed the budgeted level of service. - Maintains and promotes a safe workplace through training, cleanup, review and maintenance of material safety data sheets; adherence of OSHA and EPA standards and by example.   Key Interfaces: - All company associates, management, and external vendors and suppliers.   Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: - Advanced knowledge of PC usage (PLC support, Microsoft Office, Graphic systems interfaces, etc.). - Strong mechanical abilities and knowledge of hand tools, and electrical applications up to 480V. - Ability to organize tasks, to be detail-oriented and to be analytical. - Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a professional and calm demeanor. - Ability to effectively communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization. - Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time. - Ability to bend, stoop, climb ladders and perform work above the shoulder level. - Must possess a valid driver’s license. - Knowledge of AC and DC circuits, wire guidance, hydraulics and battery maintenance - Strong diagnostic skills of powered lift equipment. - Strong electrical and mechanical abilities, as well as OSHA safety practices (LOTO, BPP, PPE). - Knowledge of all duties of Maintenance Technicians. - Knowledge of carpentry skills, including woodworking, door repair, drywall, metal studs, floor coverings, wall coverings, concrete, basic electrical, and plumbing. - Strong diagnostic skills related to electrical and mechanical equipment. - Detailed knowledge of automated material handling systems. - Extensive distribution knowledge and background. Detailed knowledge of computer controlled systems and programmable logic controllers.   Education/Experience Required: - Four year degree or equivalent experience. - Minimum five years of mechanical, electrical and general maintenance experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment targeting one or more of the following: Distribution, Powered lift equipment, Facilities, Boilers, Chillers, HVAC, Pumps and     Air Compressors, Automation Systems (distribution, building, etc.), Conveyor Systems, Vehicle Maintenance (lifts, fork trucks, transtacker cranes, etc.). - Two years actively performing preventive maintenance on material handling equipment - Working knowledge of OSHA safety standards   Preferred:  - 3-5 years supervisory experience involving non-exempt employees - Working knowledge of EPA Universal Waste regulations. - Vocational training, technical certification or a current or past professional license

Purpose: Reports to the FTZ Manager under the direction of the Logistics Department. This position is responsible for the admission, inventory control and reconciliation, withdrawal, and payment of duties for all products admitted into and withdrawn from the Foreign Trade Zone. Core Accountabilities:  Prepare and submit all required weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual documentation and forms to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) in a timely manner maintaining all record keeping requirements for management of the FTZ.  Prepare and submit all daily FTZ admissions (e214)  Initiate customs entries, export transactions, and zone-to-zone transfers for merchandise entering and leaving the zone. May interact with CBP if necessary.  Partner with the FTZ Manager to ensure the FTZ Procedures Manual is current and accurately reflects the operations and practices and are in compliance with government regulations. This includes the FTZ record keeping retention program for CBP review.  Routinely update and report to the FTZ Manager concerning activities related to the Foreign Trade Zone.  Prepare the FTZ Board Annual Report summarizing all zone activity and file with zone Grantee.  Validate FTZ data against actual documentation as needed to ensure accuracy of integration and information. Conduct audits of transactions and processes and make recommendations on improvements.
